Find your class
Pulse Dance Academy began in 2012 with six students in a borrowed hall in Mont Fleuri. Word spread, the six became sixty, and in 2019 the academy opened its own studio. Today Pulse teaches kids, juniors and adults hip-hop, contemporary, Afro-beat, sega and other island dances, sends a crew to battles in the region, and closes every year with a full show of its own.
Give every young Seychellois a crew, a floor and a stage, and keep them dancing.
Our belief is simple: a good class gives young people somewhere to be, people to be with and something to be proud of. So the academy teaches every age, welcomes beginners, and mixes the street styles with the islands’ own sega and traditional dance.
All Mahé
Take our classes out of Mont Fleuri and into communities right across Mahé.
Abroad
Keep representing Seychelles at international dance events, and take more of our young dancers with us.
A home
Our studio is full most evenings. A second floor with a sprung stage is next.
Next gen
Grow the new generation: kids who start in the coral group and end up leading the crew.
Three groups, three days a week, at Studio Pulse in Mont Fleuri, Victoria. Each group has a colour from our logo: coral for kids, lime for juniors, violet for adults.
